Cinema Beer Belly

Hopeless Records continues its trans-label compilation habit with this video version of their compact disc of the same title. With videos by Superchunk, Samian, AFI, OC Supertones, and a particularly interesting 3-D version of Mustard Plug's "Everything Girl," this montage of music videos shows a healthy cross-section of the indie-rock scene. Considering that most of these videos never made it on to MTV, Cinema Beer Belly helps bring out these lower budget, but entertaining videos from some of the most popular indie-rock, punk, and ska bands. ~ Ed Atkinson, All Movie Guide
