All Music Guide Review

Bootsauce is one of those developing bands that, lacking its own sense of style, borrows every trendy sound available in hopes of catching on. They ape elements of funk and rap, introduce tape edits, and generally turn up the bass, but somewhere in there seems to be a guitar-based pop-rock rock group. The confusion, however, keeps any single strong impression from emerging. ~ William Ruhlmann, All Music Guide
