Living Colour

It may only be a budget-priced compilation, but Sony Music Special Products' Play It Loud! does a nice job of summarizing Living Colour's appeal through a variety of singles, rarities and album cuts. True, there are several songs missing -- "What's Your Favorite Color?," "Type," "Open Letter to a Landlord," "Pride" and "Love Rears Its Ugly Head" are all absent -- but "Cult of Personality," "New Jack Theme," "Glamour Boys," "Elvis Is Dead" and a cover of "Burning of the Midnight Lamp," among others, all make for an effective sampler.
