This double-CD set almost doubles the sample of the Nuggets box whence it was derived, with the addition of 16 more songs, among them "Laugh, Laugh" by the Beau Brummels, "I See the Light" by the Five Americans, "Let It Out (Let It All Hang Out)" by Hombre, "Wooly Bully" by Sam the Sham & the Pharaohs, "Journey to the Center of the Mind" by the Amboy Dukes, "Are You a Boy or Are You a Girl" by the Barbarians, "Farmer John" by the Premiers, "Sugar and Spice" by the Cryan' Shames, "Run, Run, Run" by the Gestures, "A Question of Temperature" by the Balloon Farm, "She's About A Mover" by the Sir Douglas Quintet, "Respect" by the Vagrants, "Don't Look Back" by Remains, and "Just Like Me" by Paul Revere & the Raiders. The same sound quality (excellent) is in evidence here, and it has the same annotation by Greg Shaw, so whether this is worth tracking down depends upon how one feels about the particular songs and artists -- this is still "Nuggets-lite" but a fuller body of music, sort of like gorging oneself on an appetizer, and the set comes with an offer for -Rhino's Psychedelic Trip by Alan Bisbort and Parke Puterbaugh. ~ Bruce Eder, All Music Guide
