Earth Crisis is one of those rare heavy metal bands that adds an activist's social conscious and a drug-free aesthetic to their music. In essence, the group has adapted the straight-edge punk lifestyle for heavy metal, adding a pro-environmental stance to the rulebook. That means Earth Crisis is primarily notable for their ideology, not their music. But their music -- which is more or less straightforward post-thrash metal -- is competent, providing a good platform for their politics. Furthermore, Gomorrah's Season Ends suggests that, given a little time, the band could expand their musical and lyrical power simply by writing stronger hooks. ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, All Music Guide
