This hour-long video is drawn from Billy Joel's concerts in Leningrad in August 1987. The song introductions, spoken by Joel and translated into Russian by an interpreter, slow things down a bit at first, but the audience is as enthusiastic as if they were at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island, and Joel eventually gets a rhythm going that builds in the course of the 10-song set to a climax with a cover of "Back in the USSR." Joel brought a full-scale show to the Soviet Union, complete with staging, band, and a complement of video equipment that produces as well-shot and edited a concert video as any made in the U.S. ~ William Ruhlmann, All Music Guide
