So many people told All to hang it up after vocalist Scott Reynolds quit back in 1993. And after the release of 1995's Pummel, many of these people were proven right. But upon signing to Epitaph, All's comeback album Mass Nerder put the most jaded critic in their place.
All's second Epitaph release Problematic follows in the same footsteps of their previous albums: guitar-driven pop-punk, songs about girls and heartbreak, and the occasional rip of silliness (as captured on the "true story" of "She Broke My Dick"). Even though this formula has been recycled since 1993's Breaking Things, an appeal of fun remains as these middle-aged men continue to relate to teenage skate punk after ten albums and three singers. ~ Mike DaRonco, All Music Guide
