    Solution to Benefit Heal the Bay is a double-disc compilation ranging from latter-day punk and third-wave ska to hip-hop, electronica, and club music, all in the service of the Heal the Bay Foundation, an environmental organization dedicated to cleaning up coastal waters. Fifteen of the 27 tracks are previously unreleased, including material from Lit, Blink 182, Bad Religion, Reel Big Fish, the Rentals, Thievery Corporation, Weston, and more. Other big names present include Ozomatli, Less Than Jake, Goldfinger, Fenix TX, and MXPX, among many others. As benefit albums go, this one is fairly consistent, although there are still some nondescript tracks here and there; the high points will make it worthwhile for fans of the artists in question, although it definitely helps to enjoy all these styles of music. ~ Steve Huey, All Music Guide
