A trio of big names has joined the cast of HBO's forthcoming film about Temple Grandin, one of the country's leading speakers on autism. Grandin has used her experience with the disease to become a respected research scientist for the humane treatment of livestock.
Catherine O'Hara, David Strathairn, and Julia Ormond have signed on to star in the currently untitled film. Claire Danes has already committed to play Grandin. Ormond will play Grandin's mother while O'Hara will portray her aunt. Strathairn will play a science professor. The film is currently shooting in Austin, Texas.
