Metallica have firmed up the dates for their fall/winter tour of North America with shows running between an October 21 stop in Glendale, AZ, and a January 31 gig in Newark, NJ. More than 30 cities will be hit over the course of three months, with The Sword appearing at all shows and Lamb of God, Down and Machine Head rotating in and out of the rest.
"Now that Death Magnetic is complete, we're ready to start a proper indoor arena tour of the States and Canada and we can't wait to visit all of our 'Talli-fans here," the band wrote on Metallica.com. "It really has been too long (hey, what's four years amongst friends?)."
Death Magnetic drops on September 12. For more details on how to get tickets for Metallica's tour, head over to their official Web site.
