Robert De Niro is planning two sequels to follow up his somewhat successful CIA film The Good Shepherd, which hit theaters with decent reviews and healthy ticket sales in 2006.
De Niro hinted that the films would continue to take a cold, hard, long look at the development of the Central Intelligence Agency. The second film would trace lead character Edward Wilson, played by Matt Damon in the original, from 1961 through 1989. The third installment would follow the character to the present day.
De Niro has not revealed any other details about the possible films.
