Juana Molina has suddenly emerged from the ether with her fourth Domino full-length, Un Dia. Due out on October 7, it was recorded by the singer/multi-instrumentalist/former actress with guest guitar work from Gareth Dickson (also of Vashti Bunyan's band). According to a press release, the album could be her wildest collection yet—with "pronounced rhythms and [a] bold low end."

"I noticed the rhythm in the music on previous records was tacit," Molina said in a statement. "[It was] there, but concealed. Some people didn't feel there was any kind of rhythm at all! On this album I decided to make what was pretty obvious for me, more obvious to others, to bring it to the front. All that was insinuated in the past is now more tangible."

Molina is currently on tour with Feist and will hit the following cities in the coming month:
