Just in time for their new record
"[Our new deal will allow us] to seek the creative freedom envisioned by the founding fathers of our great nation," frontman Conrad Keely said in a statement, "immune from the tyranny of the corporate ogre."
Trail's new effort—"a more anthemic record" according to the band's publicist—was co-produced by Chris "Frenchie" Smith and longtime collaborator Mike McCarthy. It'll be out in January of 2009.
