Of his longtime manager
"The biggest issue with me is disrespect for the family and kids," Robert Robinson, one of Charles' sons, told the Associated Press. "If you respect a man and his work, then respect his kids. His blood is flowing through our veins."
According to AP's report, Charles' recordings are valued at around $25 million, and he's also worth another $50 million from securities, real estate and other assets. His kids would like to control how his name and image is used as a result, as Adams was not left anything in Charles' will. He did violate several state laws, however; at least according to court documents filed by Mary Anne Den Bok, the mother of Charles' youngest child.
