Sprouting from the roots of the historical public broadcast show of the same name, the Austin City Limits Music Festival has grown into one of the US's premiere musical attractions. The three-day soirée has earned a reputation for attracting an epic and diverse line-up of music acts, including everything from rock, indie, hip-hop, folk, R&B and electronica. This year's iteration is poised to build upon that legacy with eight stages packed with both well established artists and some of this year's most buzz worthy rising talent.

ACL concertgoers are allowed to bring in two 32oz water bottles, umbrellas and a folding chair to help battle the infamous Austin sun, and promoters will be herding in a large assortment of food, water, and alcohol vendors to take care of the rest. The only thing that won't be supplied is parking near festival grounds, so we suggest hitching a ride on the free shuttle that stops in downtown Austin's Republic Square, or taking advantage of on-site bike parking.
